From the beginning of the Tekken series millions of gamers became fans of this fantastic series of fighting games. Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection keeps this going and the game is one of the most worth it on the PlayStation 3 console.

This game is available online from the PlayStation Store and it is basically the PS3 edition of Tekken 5: DR from the PSP. Even though this version does not have certain usual additions like Tekken Bowl and Tekken Force, the game is addictive with its impressive graphics especially on an HDTV.

For its cost, visuals are impressive.

Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection contains the whole bunch of fighters from the previous games including the most popular Jin, Paul, Kazuya, Law and Nina. The two new characters in Lili and Dragunov are also available in the package. Last and not least, the exclusive boss Jinpachi is also playable even though his moves are limited and difficult to control.

Most of the time gamers will spend their time on the Ghost or Online modes. The Ghost Mode consists of fighting against a number of fighters having a different difficulty which depends on the profile they are in. The variety of characters and difficulty will make you keep playing the game and this also counts for the Online Mode. You can now fight online against your friends or unknown users from around the world and gain points while you win. These points are counted for ranking purposes and you can check your rank every now and then.

New characters. Lili and Jinpachi.

Cash earned from single-player modes can be used to buy various outfits and accessories to change the look of your favorite fighter. Also with this money gallery images and movies can also be bought and downloaded from a specified server, instead of having to download everything when you buy the game online from PlayStation Store.

Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection is a potentially interesting and value for money game. It might not be stunning for the PlayStation 3 console but it is truly a must have for all Tekken series fans.

For a low-budget game, Tekken 5: DR has impressive graphics and surroundings. Rare slight glitches.
Firm sound effects which complete the game. Nothing special but does the job well.
The Ghost and Online modes are a lot of fun which is concluded with a vast number of fighters and combat styles.
