  1. it has to be red dead redemption it is the biggest game of rhe year

  2. Easily my best game of 2010 is Mass Effect 2 and a great review to go along with it!!! Well played!

  3. Red dead redemption

  4. It must be call of duty black-ops since it has the best overall experience in both solo and multi-player.

  5. No doubts on God of war.

  6. I’m currently nearing the end of Mass Effect 2 and unless it completely falls apart in the last few hours, it’s my choice. Special mention to Bayonetta though, love that game as well.

  7. God of War 3

  8. Hi guys.
Personally I’d say BC2. But of the choices I’d say Red Dead Redmeption, all-round gem of a game, pushes boundaries for sandbox games too. Closely followed by Castlevania though, that was amazing too.

  9. its gotta be god of war!!

  10. Massive game.. I love God of war..

  11. Red Dead Redemption..

  12. Fifa 11 has taken the next step in my view in ‘Real Gaming’ given the increased attention to detail required too capture the realism of the greatest art in the World. Looking at the graphics, style, database and what it takes too run an engine like this [and the continued playing options] it really takes the complication of having 11 v 11 on the pitch too a new level that once again far passes pro evoultion. Crowd reactions, live or die atmospheres, give this game what it needs to be the best. Not into Football?, prefer the fictional fighting Worlds ? time to wake up and give this a shot.

  13. 3rd installment by Santa Monica Studio lived up to its hype 101%, amazing visuals, stunning backgrounds and stages, tricky puzzles and various enemies are some of the things that will amaze you in this game….not to mention ur granny will pop her eyes out with the gore Kratos has to offer!
And last but not least, this game has the best boss fights ever in videogame history! EPIC!

  14. Red Dead Redemption all the way, just an amazing game.

  15. AC:B 🙂 multiplayer is awesome!

  16. it appears i’m the oddball here so far, but i’ve gotta throw my vote in for Heavy Rain. It was the first game in a long long time that both told an excellent story, and had me truly caring for what happened to the characters. i won’t give away any spoilers, but the end result of letting my g/f play through a key scene almost made me want to replay the game to get a different outcome.

  17. Kratos is going to win this war. God of War forever.

  18. As for this year. I’ll give my vote to Heavy Rain…so I’m gonna join you’re club ‘Mike’. I could not stop playing this game over and over to get different endings. I love it

  19. Call of Duty: Black Ops

  20. It has to be Mass Effect 2. Epic story, characters and game!

    • You have more useful info than the British had colonies prWe-WII.

  21. Mass Effect 2 was almost the perfect game to me. My few problems are so minuscule that they don’t warrant a mention. With a wonderful cast of character, a world dripping with depth, and a story that captivated our attention, Shepard’s story really hit its stride in this second entry and with the added DLC I was playing Mass Effect 2 well into October. Not bad for a game released in January. With the upcoming port to the PS3 I once again will start my year with Mass Effect 2. Can a game win Game of the Year 2 years in a row?

    Mass Effect 2

  22. I own only a 360 so I can’t say much on gow and heavy rain…

for me Mass Effect 2 was epic. I vote for it!

  23. God of war 3

  24. Castlevania

  25. Heavy Rain..best graphics & story!

  26. Red dead redemption Hands down best game of 2010

  27. red dead….

  28. God of War III

  29. Mass Effect 2…. Story was as immersive and heroic as never before, with awesome gamesplay for everyone’s taste.

    • Just what the doctor oreerdd, thankity you!

  30. As for my vote, it goes to God of War III. Personally it was very tight between Heavy Rain, Red Dead Redemption and God of War III.

Heavy Rain was that something new, special and truly unforgettable experience. It is a game which you need some patience at the beginning, but once the story starts to unfold, you can’t stop playing it to uncover the truth behind the Origami Killer.

Red Dead Redemption is a game which many people describe it as being the GTA in the wild west. Yes it is an open world just like GTA, but Red Dead Redemption is another game which feels very special with some amazing details from John Marston’s world. Personally I rate RDR more than GTA. It has been a long while since a good western game came out. The difference here is that Red Dead Redemption is outstanding.

Last and not least I think that God of War III deserves the annual award for being the best looking and the most entertaining game of 2010. The level of detail is simply gorgeous and God of War III has the best boss fights ever. I couldn’t stop playing with Kratos until I got the Platinum trophy. Massive.

  31. Castlevania Lords of Shadow

  32. Red Dead Redemption and Assassin Creed are the best ever!!!!!!!
