Official Website:

Crysis 2 will be the sequel to the original Crysis which was released in 2007. The game is developed by Crytek using the CryEngine 3 development engine for the first time and awesome results are expected to come out. In fact Crysis 2, which will be released on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in Autumn 2010, is said to be a big improvement on its predecessor with mind-blowing visuals and combat gameplay being “catastrophically beautiful”.

Unlike the original Crysis and Far Cry, the game is going to be set in an urban environment. New York City has been evacuated due to alien infestation and our hero, Alcatraz, is being hunted down by the Crynet Systems because the protagonist stole the Nanosuit 2. This redesigned Nanosuit gives the player a number of choices on how to proceed on the battlefield. More than one power mode can be used simultaneously for a specified amount of time with upgrades taking place to customize weapons and abilities. Two trailers have been released about the Nanosuit 2.

Apart from the Crynet Systems, another enemy has been improved and also redesigned. Aliens are now more lethal and you will have to be on your toes when you meet a couple of them. This first person shooter is said to support stereoscopic 3D, as developer Crytek claimed. With a number of gameplay footage videos shown in E3, expectations are a bit high for Crysis 2. Watch this official trailer and trust me, it will give you goosebumps. It’s coming. New York.

Expectations are High High
